This project is far beyond a traditional website revamp; it forms one of the biggest pillars of the radical digital transformation initiative Dortek launched two years ago. Serving a wide spectrum from luxury residences to massive commercial projects globally, Dortek has elevated its digital presence to the same premium level as its physical production quality, creating a hybrid architecture where architects, large construction firms, and end consumers experience a seamless journey within the same ecosystem.

Unprecedented Performance with Headless Commerce and Next.js

The infrastructure of a platform catering to such a multi-layered target audience had to be uncompromising in terms of flexibility and speed. Accordingly, we implemented a Headless Commerce and Headless CMS architecture, focusing entirely on modern web technologies.

While utilizing the power of Magento (Adobe Commerce) as the backend e-commerce engine to handle all complex product, stock, pricing, and order management, we built the frontend from scratch with Next.js, a highly fast, SEO oriented, and dynamic framework. This decoupled structure ensures that the massive product variation calculations running in the background never slow down the user experience.

Revolutionizing Design and Ordering with pCon

One of the most ambitious steps of the project was the unprecedentedly deep integration of the pCon system, the industry standard in the furniture and architectural design world into the Dortek ecosystem.

Architects, architectural firms, and B2B partners logging into the system can instantly configure premium door models specific to their projects, down to the finest millimeter details, veneer types, and frame depths. While the final product is instantly visualized in high-resolution 3D, architects can generate professional PDF output to provide quotes to their clients. Approved projects are converted into B2B orders directly through the system, requiring absolutely no manual intervention. Furthermore, B2C consumers can use pCon's room design capabilities to simulate their dream Dortek doors in their own living spaces.

Salesforce Integration: Zero Friction in the Sales Funnel

In a platform where the visitor profile ranges from end consumers to massive contracting firms, routing the right request to the right department without delay is a critical threshold for operational success. To perfect this data flow, we built a deep data bridge with Salesforce, the world's most powerful CRM platform.

When architects or B2B partners upload heavy architectural drawing files like DWGs or PDFs to the system via communication forms designed for bulk project quotes or custom production requests, a smart routing algorithm runs in the background. These forms and all attached documents are securely transferred directly to Dortek's Salesforce system, automatically assigning tasks to the relevant departments based on the type of request.
